Read A-Long Book: The Most Magnificent Thing by Ashley Spires

It is a story of a little girl and her dog. She sets out to make a magnificent thing. She and her dog go out to the neighborhood to collect items that she will need. She starts to make her thing out on the sidewalk. She is not satisfied with her first project. She makes another and another until she gets frustrated and mad. Her dog decides that it is time for her to take him for a walk. As they walk around the neighborhood, she begins to feel better. As they come back home, she sees all the things she had made lined up on the sidewalk. She starts to see what she had did wrong and proceeds to make her magnificent thing. She finally accomplishes what she was hoping for, a scooter with a bucket seat for her dog to sit in. It’s a story about not giving up to something you are trying to create.
